Quote of the day, French ghetto version

A Swiss paper has "embedded" journalists in one of the worst of the ghettos that ring Paris. Their French colleagues are impressed with their bravery:
"One French journalist even told me that his colleagues were more afraid of reporting in the suburbs than in Afghanistan or Iraq."
Hardly surprising as France can't ransom them from the ghettos like they do in Afganistan and Iraq.

The story also mentions the relatively good welcome they have received from the locals:
Speaking from the football clubhouse where L'Hebdo has been based, Rebetez [a journalist] said the Swiss journalists had been generally well received although one of their number was recently attacked with pepper spray during what appeared to be an attempted robbery.
